About the Trust 

Pragya Education and Environment Trust was established in 2008 with the objective of
(i) Education, Training and Research in all areas of human endeavour;
(ii) Conservation and Restoration of Environment; and

(iii) Promotion of Human Health, especially in rural and semi-urban areas.

The Trust supports poor students in primary and secondary schools with books, dresses and contribution towards fees. It also plans to promote vocational education in rural areas for better livelihood opportunities. The Trust organises Lectures, Seminars and Competitions on a variety of subjects for the benefit of students in Higher Secondary Schools and Degree Colleges. At higher levels, the Trust organises Conferences, Seminars and Symposia; and conducts Training Workshops. 

The Trust has acquired a piece of land in village Peera near Khajuraho (M.P.) and got a building constructed for its Research and Training activities. It has set up a Centre for Inland Waters in South Asia, which collaborates and cooperates with many Indian and international institutions/ organisations.
